Set Up Your Paystack Account In Few Steps
Setting Up Paystack as Your Payment Gateway
If you're operating in Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, or Côte d'Ivoire, Paystack is available as a payment gateway option for your account. Here's what you'll need to provide, and what to expect during setup.
Is Paystack Available for You?
Paystack is currently supported for tenants operating in:
- Nigeria
- South Africa
- Ghana
- Kenya
- Côte d'Ivoire
If you operate outside these countries, please reach out to your account manager/support to discuss alternative payment gateway options.
What We'll Need From You
To get your Paystack integration set up and tested, please share the following:
1️⃣ Test Secret Key — from your Paystack account
2️⃣ Test Public Key — from your Paystack account
3️⃣ Paystack Account Username
4️⃣ Paystack Account Password
5️⃣ Processing Rates — as agreed with your Sales contact, including applicable processing fees
If you don't yet have a Paystack account, you'll need to create one at paystack.com before we can proceed.
What Happens Next
Once you've shared these details, our team will configure the integration on our end and run test transactions to make sure everything works smoothly — before anything goes live for your customers.
Going Live 🚀
Once testing is complete and confirmed, we'll ask you for two final pieces:
- Live Secret Key
- Live Public Key
These activate Paystack for real, live transactions — meaning your end users can begin paying through it right away.
